Importance of concierge in front of Desk in office and Hotel
A Front Desk Concierge (Front Office Employee or Reception) is frequently the first person to engage with visitors, therefore he must create a strong first impact. The receptionist does not assist all visitors, just those who want assistance. But, for those who do, the value of assistance supplied by the doorman is often the most lasting memory they get had of their visit. When customers arrive, the front desk receptionist greets them and orders them in with their booking. They assign rooms to guests, give them apartment keyboards, and showing them how to go to their apartments. They also offer any relevant data, such as when supper is delivered. It is the front counter attendant's responsibility to know all the answers to customers' queries, such as the hours of operation or the whereabouts of the gym. When the guests arrive in their rooms, they may phone the front desk with any questions or to schedule a wake-up call. A front desk of most hotels is manned 24 hours a day, so if you want to know what time the dining opens at 3 a.m., the night shift clerk will be pleased to inform you. Naturally, the front desk receptionist is located at the hotel industry's front desk. It's placed in such a way that it can be seen from afar, either straight ahead as people enter the main door, or off to either side. Even though it is named the front desk, this is more of a raised countertop than a desk, and it is wider than a desk to allow numerous employees to assist many visitors at same time. Although some hotel front desk receptionists have bachelor's degrees in hospitality and are working as clerks to get expertise in all or most of the hotel's professions, a college education is seldom necessary. With a high school graduation and little or no expertise, many individuals begin working at the front desk. They acquire from the more senior staff on the job. If they want to progress, they may get an associates degree degree while working and even go on to get a bachelor's degree if they want to. The concierge's goal is to make sure you have a good time in the place you're staying.
