Orange peel extraction and phytochemical analysis are the main goals of this research topic, which will use both traditional and aqueous extraction methods. Because of the sweetness of its fruit, orange (citrus fruit) trees are frequently planted across tropical and subtropical regions. When dried, the epicarp may be used as a mosquito deterrent in a room. Numerous studies on citrus lemons have been conducted depending on where they come from, but in my area, the unripe fruit's peel has not yet been tested for its nutrients and phytochemicals since environmental conditions like as soil type and temperature impact these parameters. Studies have shown that orange peels, which are by-products of the fruit's processing, are rich in bioactive compounds. Peels and other waste products from the production of oranges are generated on a regular basis. Every year, India produces over 25 lakh metric tonnes of oranges. Oranges are mostly grown in Punjab, Rajasthan, Assam, and Andhra Pradesh, but they are also grown in other parts of India, including Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The peel of oranges accumulates during the manufacture of orange juice and other orange products, causing an environmental hazard. Consequently, it is essential to identify the uses for these peels. Many treatments and foods may benefit from the minerals and phytochemicals found in orange peels.
